Out of time by Blur

在捷運上翻起了兩年多前買的散文：張惠菁。「你不相信的事」，瞥見她提到Blur的歌out of time，"時間之外，或是耗盡了時間、被時間耗盡。"
對歌曲本身是有印象的，但是卻不深刻，大體說來，我對「Think Tank」這張專輯在記憶裡的標籤，似乎只剩薄薄即將脫落的白色紙屑狀，時而浮掠，而不見上頭把價值量化的價格與實體化的文字評論。何故？或許是因為我對Blur的時間感，仍停留在90年初Brit-pop及Brit-rock那種總以為還有大把青春可消耗、 稍帶頹然卻又俏皮的甜美瞬間。無怪乎，我對當了父親的Damon Albarn以略帶滄桑的聲線緩緩唱出：
「Where's the love song?/To set us free/Too many people down
Everything turning the wrong way around/And I don't know what love will be
But if we stop dreaming now/Lord knows we'll never leave the clouds」
毫無迴旋縈繞心頭感，因彼時，我還處於泡泡糖般地夢幻裡，抗拒長大，編織幻影，還沈浸於Girls And Boys熱鬧喧嘩中，對於平淡中帶有諸多滋味的絃外之音，哪裡體會得出來？

現在卻迫不及待地帶點急躁地迫切想要重新檢視此歌，檢視每天被時間追趕的我，在無意義文書往來間，耗盡了時間。
