這部深得我心，就似帶點苦澀焦味的派中嚐出一抹香甜那般的清新好滋味。
雖然梗有點老，但機智幽默字字珠璣的對白，令人回味再三哪！
Jenna是個備受控制欲老公家暴的餐廳女服生，偷偷存錢希冀開創新生活，沒想到再一次意外被丈夫灌醉後發生關係，因而懷了小孩，這對想離家遠走高飛實現夢想的她，無疑是雪上加霜。好險有同事的友情，與婦產科醫生突然降臨的愛情/激情？還有熟客的人生經驗加持才讓她從壓抑窒礙感及憤世嫉俗中面對真正的自我，最重要的是，孩子讓她變得強壯，當下有勇氣去切斷囤積已久剪不斷理還亂重重結繩。

以上是熟客的人生經驗談，我想他真正要表達的是，It's never too late, Start fresh. There is always a second chance in your own life if you really want it by heart. So once in your life time, just follow your heart, let it lead you.
人生總是敗多於成，但夢想讓人不顧失敗，一再嘗試，人因而偉大。
感謝Adrienne Shelly創造了一部讓我在麻木消極度日還能重新檢驗自己的電影，同時也惋惜她的英年早逝，嘆！(1966-2006)
